Reviews and Ratings
The apartment with a sauna and fireplace is old and not well-maintained, with stinky carpets and very low-quality services. The thin mattress and cushions for pillows made the stay uncomfortable, and the reception department was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. The place was very cold and too loud at times.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, despite lacking previous preparation for four guests and having thin mattresses, were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the reception department was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. On the bright side, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing valuable tips for activities like Aurora Borealis spotting and Toboggan sites. The location was excellent, close to bus stations and supermarkets, with a variety of seating areas. The dining experience was good, with a decent selection but slightly pricey. Overall, the hotel offered great value for the money, although some aspects could be improved.
I stayed at a charming log style apartment in the old wing of the hotel, which was lovely. The location was great, making me feel free despite the touristy atmosphere. However, the room came with 2 paper cups for coffee/tea instead of mugs or glasses, hinting at a lower standard for a hotel. Hiring a car is recommended to fully enjoy the place.
